Current Projects

Hā Studios is building a portfolio of creative content based on ancient Hawaiian legends. This necessary development is an important landmark in world-wide cultural history and will create a foundation for Hawai'i's Film Industry. Seeking to inspire the next generation of Hawai'i Artists, HĀ Studios is looking to the past to create a better future for those who lack representation in mainstream media.  A current snapshot of high-priority projects are listed below. 

1) Graphic Novel Series

HA Studios is partnering with local illustrators and color artists to create a dynamic set of graphic novels geared to introduce Polynesian heroes and heroins to the ComiCon arena. This will bring awareness to the historic lack of minorities and women in illustrative arts while building a grass-roots customer base behind Hā Studios projects.

2) Full Length Novels

Targeting the Young Adult market, Hā Studios is starting to outline full-length fantasy novels based on Hawaiian Legends. The story titled, Legend of the Twin Flames, is the flagship product of Hā Studios and is the foundation behind both the Graphic Novel Series and the Feature Film expansions.

4) Virtual Reality Horizon

HĀ Studios is developing mythology content into scripts for short-films that can be used for virtual reality experiences. These projects will be on-going as a means to bridge the gap between age-old Hawaiian stories and new technologies...
